About Lucy
My Story
Lucy Jinga Muzungu is the founder of Jinga’s Counselling Services PTY LTD and Lucy Jinga Interiors.
Jinga’s Counselling Services PTY LTD is a National Disability Insurance Service and offers therapeutic support services mostly to women and children who have experienced emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and financial abuse. Lucy is passionate about the fight against Domestic and family violence. Men can learn from the Ministry too because usually the perpetrators of domestic violence are men. The ministry is for the perpetrator and the victim.
Lucy puts God as the centre of her ministry and practice because he is the creator of all human beings. He embraces us and loves us all despite our shortcomings. Her burning passion is to reach every woman who has experienced domestic violence in any form or shape and help them through the healing process to recovery and thriving. Lucy Jinga Muzungu shares her personal journey and experience with domestic violence and childhood trauma as a way to empower and support women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
Lucy has worked for Centre Against Domestic Abuse which is a Government NGO as a Women’s Wellbeing Practitioner in the Women’s Wellbeing Hub department. Lucy also worked for Kurbingui as a Youth and Family Engagement Practitioner. She also worked as a Brief Intervention Case Manager Homestay at Encircle Community services.
Personal Life
Lucy is a mother of three gorgeous children, and her children are her life. Lucy Jinga Muzungu says that she lives to be the change she wants to see in the world and tries to do so by ensuring that she instills the precious values she has learnt to her children.
This book will bring self awareness to emotional wounds that need healing. Please remember to see your psychologist or Doctor for specific therapeutic supports. This is my story and the tools I used to heal from childhood trauma and thrive.
